Creating this book was definitely a passion project. A collaboration between myself, the reader, and most importantly, the plants, I spent months researching, compiling, illustrating, designing, printing, and finally hand cutting and assembling an edition of 40 books.

Year of the Tiger Calendar

In 2021 I had a great idea for a calendar: since 2022 is the year of the tiger, I decided to illustrate my favorite animal in the place of each of the 12 zodiac signs. Collage

An important part of my design practice is getting my hands dirty at times. While designing digitally is great for most objectives, playing with paper and getting my exacto knife out helps inform me of useful techniques and textures, and reminds me of the importance of composition in my designs.
